Graduate School of China Academy of Engineering Physics

A theoretical physicist, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Fellow of The World Academy of Sciences, founding president of the Graduate School of China Academy of Engineering Physics, vice president of the Chinese Physical Society, and deputy chair of the Supervisory Committee of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has received the Second Prize of the State Natural Science Award and the honorary title of National Advanced Worker.

He has long organized and participated in strategic planning for physics in China. His major works include Modern Course in Quantum Mechanics and Classical Yang–Mills Field Theory.
